well, the words are pretty harsh........but in essence they have some degree of truth.......Everybody knows the methods used by the people mentioned are unlawful and unconstitutional...... and some of their comments are hidden political agendas used to increase their vote bank by playing on the sentiments of Indians, in particular Maharashtrians........ This worked well in past, when Jinnah divided India....and before that, the British politics of Divide and Rule....... it is unfair of them to say that Mumbai was made by and for Maharashtrians....by saying so they hurt the sentiments of all the indians from differrent part of india who helped the development...... Indeed the cosmopolitan tag of mumbai design thats people from all part of india have settled and continue to live there.....And last but not the least, the statement hat they are makin that it will help the common marathi manus if they follow their ideology is dead wrong....in the name of divise politics, the co mmon marathi manus is only harmed..... i am a north indian who is pursuing his studies in Mumbai and in my experience, it is not in the nature of people there to harm anyone...... The brave Shivaji Maharaj....in whose name they are doing their dirty deeds would never have raised his sword against his own countrymen whose only intention was to setlle peacefully in a place in hteir own country.......and if their attacks on North indians are right, then so is the racist attacks on indians in Australia....In fact, the attackers might have taken the leaf out of their books...saying that since indians are beaten in theri own land, we might as well beat them here, where they can't even protest....
It’s notable that, nowhere Mr. Kashyap Kishor Misra has named these noxious guys. Sir, I m not competent enough to leave a comment on your article.Maharashtrian have full right to show their preference in the type of food they like, cloths they want to wear,festivals they celebrate but they are no one to show there preference in people and give any type of misstatement on them. As you have stated, we Indians are free to do whatever we wish if that is lawful and wherever we want to live.Then why the people from other places have to hear from them. For me these people wearing saffron, the color of our flag should not be called the buffoons they are the 'clever foxes' who are fooling the blunderheads to take wrong advantage of democracy. You are ofcourse not harsh, instead you are so polite calling them buffoons bcoz my type of person would go for more rude words.They are simply breaking the constitution of India and bringing inequality and injustice. Bombay is a city with zing things, hence attracts to whole India. no one can change the idea behind "Bhartiyta" either Marathi or non marathi. This also shuld bear in mind that "Veer bhogya vasundhra" and here only one 'VeeR" in repablic of India and that is New Delhi, and delhi would decide which place belongs to whom. No maharastra can change this idea because in India we only have "One Delhi"
